Mac & Cheese

Extra materials of the third week of 1 Recipe 4 Tastes in which 4 Chefs and 4 Apprentices re-intrepret classic recipes with the materials they choose, are pushing the boundaries of our imaginations. From greens to nuts, 10 various creative materials, abundance of creativity, team work and of our Nuh'un Ankara Makarnasi is in this kitchen!

Onion, nuts, sage.... are just some of the creative materials of this week. We present you the third episode of 1 Recipe 4 Taste which you will watch with joy and maybe try the same at home!

With the standard Mac & Cheese recipe prepared by our Chef Elif Denizci, you can enrich your dinner tables with pasta. This recipe which should be prepared with Elbow Pasta, can be tried with different tastes of Nuh'un Ankara Makarnasi and you can always add your own creative ingredients.



  • 75 gr of flour
  • 75 gr
  • Butter
  • 150 gr Cheddar
  • 500 ml Milk
  • 1 dessert spoon of Tabasco
  • 1 teaspoon of mustard powder
  • 1 dessert spoon of grated muskat
  • 1 tablespoon of bread crumbs
  • Nuh’un Ankara Makarnası Elbow


For our Mac & Cheese, we roast the flour in butter and add milk to prepare our pasta sauce. By adding all the spices, we ensure a rich taste. On the other hand, we cook Nuh'un Ankara Makarnasi just below the optimal levels. We drain them and we add them into our sauce pot and then add cheddar. If you feel that its consistency is too thick, you can add some milk at this stage. After properly mixing them, we place it on an oven tray. After spreading bread crumbs and paprika, we cook it until its top section is roasted (5 to 10 minutes) in the oven at 200 degrees. Bon Appetit!
