Wheat is the name given to the Triticum type of the Gramineae. Its roots are eaved and have a stem 15-40 cm in length. Wheat is the mostly planted plant. The most important reason is that it can easily adapt to different climates, it is a food nutritious and satisfying and it is widely used as a raw material. Wheat which is one of the first farmed plants in the world, was started to be planted in the West Asia in 7000-8000 B.C.. Then it was spread to the middle regions of Asia, to South Europe and North Africa and then to Australia and America after the discoveries. |
